Spicy Sesame Soba
INGREDIENTS
1 lb wheat soba noodles
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup toasted sesame oil
2 Tbsp brown sugar
2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 Tbsp hot chili oil (All chili oils are different. Taste yours before you add it and decide if you want to add more or less.)
1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds
2 Tbsp chives, minced
INSTRUCTIONS
In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, chili oil, balsamic and sugar.
Cook soba noodles according to the package. Usually boiling for about 4 minutes.
Once cooked, drain and rinse with cold water.
Add noodles to sauce and toss.
Add sesame seeds and chives and toss.
Great as a make ahead lunch! I like to serve these cold or room temperature.
