Balsamic Soy Grilled Carrots
INGREDIENTS
12 medium carrots
2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1 clove of garlic minced or grated
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Peel carrots and slice lengthwise in quarters (long sticks).
Toss carrots in 1 tbsp of cooking oil (canola preferred) and sprinkle with salt and pepper
Grill carrots for 20-25 minutes on low flame in a grill basket, tossing every 5 minutes.
While the carrots grill, whisk together balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar and garlic and set aside.
When carrots are fork tender remove from the grill and immediately toss in the sauce.
Best served warm or room temperature.
