Bison Burger
INGREDIENTS
1 lb ground bison
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 Tbsp melted butter
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat grill to 450 degrees
Crumble bison over a cutting board. Pour melted butter over the bison. Bison is very lean and can easily dry out. The butter helps maintain moisture.
Season with salt and pepper
Divide ground bison in half and form 2 patties. Press 2 fingers into the center of the patty to make a small indentation. This keeps your burgers from puffing up and turning into balls.
Grill patties for 4 minutes, flip, add your favorite cheese, and grill for another 4 minutes for medium burgers. Grill for another 2 minutes for well-done burgers.
Let burgers rest uncovered for 5 minutes.
